From Luxembourg’s Forests & Nature Parks, through Switzerland’s Lakes & Mountains to France’s Glamorous Beach Resorts

Enjoy the natural beauty of Luxembourg’s Forests and Nature Parks, Switzerland’s Lakes and Mountains and the Glamorous Beaches of the French Riviera (Cote d’Azur). All brought together in this 28-day tour, you will enjoy the wide and varied range of scenery, cuisine and cultures. Throughout the tour there is a comprehensive programme of organised events interspersed with time for relaxation or individual exploration.

Be captivated by a stay in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, a cosmopolitan country in the heart of Europe. Luxembourg is mostly rural with the dense Ardennes forest and nature parks of the north, rocky gorges of the Mullerthal region in the east and the Moselle river valley in the south. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is famed for its fortified medieval old town perched on the sheer cliffs.

The tour takes us through the Alsace region of France where we have a stopover in Strasbourg, the capital of the region and formal seat of the European Parliament. Then into Switzerland and Lauterbrunnen. Located in the heart of the Bernese Oberland region, Lauterbrunnen is ideally positioned for the many cable cars and mountain railways, affording you the opportunity to experience the amazing scenery of this mountain region.

Leaving Switzerland, we return to France and Lake Annecy before passing through the Vercors Regional Nature Parc on route to the city of Avignon for a visit to its famous massive of the Palais des Papes (Popes’ Palace).

From Avignon we continue south to our final destinations at Port Grimaud and Villeneuve Loubet Plage on the world famous Cote d’Azur. From here we will soak up the atmosphere of the glamorous towns and beaches of St Tropez, Port Grimaud, Cannes, Nice, Antibes and Monte Carlo.
