New Year Celebrations, great Scottish food and impressive scenery
Bring in the New Year with a traditional Scottish Hogmanay celebration and follow this with time touring in Scotland. We start in style, with a Gala Hogmanay Dinner at a 16th Century Coaching Inn on the banks of the Union Canal near Edinburgh.
We then move to Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh, where we get to see many aspects of the city including its famous Castle and Royal Mile. It’s then off to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond with a visit to Glasgow before we end in the very “Heart of Scotland”, in Stirlingshire. Here we will see many familiar locations from Film and TV.
It will be Scotland in January, the driving distances have been kept short and our excursions include an indoor element as well as some impressive Scottish scenery.
Visiting Scotland would not be complete without experiencing Scotch whisky. We finish our tour at a distillery for tastings and an indulgent ‘farewell dinner’ prepared for us within the distillery.
Welcome in 2024 Scottish style and
“Lang may yer lum reek”
